Trump’s latest outburst at trial leads me to amend my suggesiton as to where he should be jailed for contempt, by Hal Brown, MSW

A couple of days ago I offered some suggestions (here) as to how jTrump could be jailed for contempt.

Update: Trump rages against ‘sleazebags and lowlifes’ in new potential gag order violation was published on RawStory two hours after I wrote the following. It only renforces what I suggested.

In view of his behavior in court yesterday I am changing what I’d recommend for how Trump should be jailed for contempt. You’ve all read or heard about how he was audibly cursing and looking aggressively at Stormy Danieils. This was a brazen violation not only of Judge Merchan’s gag order actually in court in front of the judge and jury. It was clearly meant to intimidate Stormy Daniels (needless to point out, witness). It was also a breach of courtroom decorum that would have led any judge to hold a typical defendant or even a lawyer in contempt and not only fine them but very possibly throw them in a holding cell.

I originally thought he should be shown some consideration since he is a former president and given a less than spartan accommodation. Now I think if he is jailed he should be treated like any other person who is incarcerated. This would mean that he’d be held at Riker’s where he’d be in a cell like the one pictured above rather than the more comfortable room he’d have if he was in an RV or a repurposed room in the courthouse.

In the spirit of no person being above the law I’d also say that no person who is jailed should be given special treatment unless it is earned.

While I think what Trump deserves is being in a prison like what Alzatraz was and confimed in a cell like the one pictured above I know this is just for my personal satisfaction. I think that it would be poetic justice if he had to endure even 1% of what John McCain did when he was a prisoner for 5 ½ in North Vietnam considering that Trump said “He’s not a war hero. He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”

  1. Tell demented donnie that he is headed to the same cell that Jeffry Epstein was in.
