Trump may have thought he was the Chosen One when the Godesses of Fate handed him Eileen Cannon, but godesses can be fickle and thanks to Jack Smith they may turn on him. By Hal Brown, MSW

Jack Smith was handed what should have been a slam dunk court victory in the Mar-a-Lago documents case. By fate, or chance, intervened in form of Judge Eileen Cannon who was assigned to preside over the case. Consider the odds against this (above). I wonder whether Trump realized how lucky he was when she was appointed.

It seems like ages ago when we saw articles like the one below and wondered just how in the bag for Trump this judge could be.

Jack Smith probably wondered the same thing but there wasn’t anything to make a strong a case for her removal when she got the case and even as she made more and more legally dubious pro-Trump decisions, but she may have finally gone too far:

Trump is about as likely to believe in godesses from Greek mythology as he is in a Christian God. I can imagine the Greek godesses of fate, the Moirai, holding a meeting to deal with Trump with an outcome that would be very grave indeed.

Addendum:

If you go by his given name, John, Jack smith has two of the most common names in America. Despite this what he is doing is decidely uncommon.

Jack Smith may be be the most famous John who went by Jack in the 21st century if he gets a conviction in one or, if the Fates intervene bigly) two, of his Trump cases (the document case and the Jan. 6th case) he could be as famous as another John who went by Jack. Of course that’s John F. Kennedy, Jr.
