‘Melania is trying to hide’: Viewers say awkward Trump graduation photo has story to tell

The article begins:

Former President Donald Trump fought a hard battle to appear at his son Barron’s graduation day Friday amid a hush money trial. Thanks to a hat, how Melania feels about that choice is anyone’s guess.

The black-rimmed straw hat in question appears atop Melania in a Palm Beach Post photograph capturing Barron’s graduation ceremony at Oxbridge Academy’s football field in West Palm Beach, Florida.

As a scowling former president leans in to speak to Melania’s father, she faces rigidly forward with a stern face hidden in shadow.

I think too much is being made of Melania’s hat. It is probably sunny and this serves to keep the sun off of her face. I can say that considering my blog yesterday about his very long ties the one he wore today was untypically short and it wasn’t red.

As you doubtless have heard Judge Merchan has given Trump the day off to go to the high school graduation of his son who he isn’t always sure of his age (see article).

One thing that we do know is that Trump won’t be celebrating Barron’s graduation in the late afternoon and evening at home:

Donald Trump is planning to headline a political fundraiser on the day he demanded a break in his hush money trial so that he could attend his youngest son Barron’s high school graduation.

The Minnesota Republican Party has announced that the former president will headline its annual Lincoln Reagan Dinner event on Friday 17 May, the same day that Barron Trump graduates from Oxbridge Academy in the Sunshine State.

“We are thrilled to welcome President Trump back to Minnesota,” state GOP chairman David Hann said in a statement. “I can think of no one more fitting to join us this year than President Trump.”

The fundraiser will be held in St Paul, Minnesota, a roughly three hour and 45 minute flight from West Palm Beach, where Barron’s graduation ceremony will take place. LINK

Perhaps this suits Barron just fine if he is a typical adolsecent and has a party with his friends he’d rather attend. After all who wants to be with stuffy old farts at Mar-a-Lago when they can be letting loose with high school pals?

No doubt Trump wants to convey an image of himself as a loving father and family man although these photos suggest something different.

To be fair, there are other photos which may show that Trump has some feelings for Barron.

Trump seems to have ended his marriages not because of incompatibily or personality conflicts. Many, if most, couples end their marriages for these reasons. I think it is rasonable to suggest that he ended them to trade in one wife for another he found more desirable, one that he thought made him look like the hunka-hunka burning love he has always fancied himself to be.

It’s like a man trading in a car for a newer and flashier model, and in fact Trump actually ended up marrying a model, one he decided to cheat on after a year of marriage four months after they had a baby.

Yesterday’s blog was abut Trump’s red tie, but there are many less frivilous ones here.
