Perhaps, not so much a goyische kopf, but a very sad, very ignored, very unfulfilled human, desperately grabbing for purpose before life steals its last drop of nourishing worth from them. Disappointment is one hell of a motivator for enforcing antiquated morality and harsh consequences.
Bitterness does not get any sweeter when those who exude it are further ignored. Moreover, suicidality, and the depression that leads up to it, is a reality for our species. We’ve screwed things up for ourselves, and for a great many people, undoing our errors seems too daunting a task, so instead, pursuing a cult mass suicide is the answer.
The older I get, the more I forget about the martyrs. Perhaps, that’s the point. We need to acknowledge them, but also, move on from them…
