This was my reply to Josh Winston:

As I write this the story about Santos is being covered on MSNBC with Texas Rep. Jasmine Crocket (D) expressing her opinion on Santos and overall GOP hypocrisy in keeping the likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert.

It’s a no-brainer to say the Santos has been a gift to Democrats. I think Jamie Raskin’s comment (below) belies his real feelings.

One thing that me from his interview that caught my attention, and also those on MSNBC, was his saying he’s the Mary Magdalene of Congress (below illustration). By this I suppose he meant he was being treated like a prostitute. Of course she is is considered to be a saint by the Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Anglican, and Lutheran denominations, although nobody knows for sure what religion Santos is considering that he claimed he was JewISH.

Here’s what Jamie Raskin said (not what I expect he actually feels):

Like most Democrats I think he experiences schadenfreude, not because he enjoys witnessing the troubles, failures, pain, or humiliation of George Santos, but because of experiencing a certain amount of pleasure at watching the House GOP squirming at having him in their midst.

Here’s an idea for George Santos. He doesn’t even have to resign from the House to do what I suggest. He could declare his candidacy for president. It doesn’t matter whether he says he’s going to run as a Republican or an independent. He thrives on publicity and like Trump not only doesn’t care if it’s bad publicity, he relishes bad publicity. Also like Trump, he accepts being mocked even when it may bother him more than being condemned, as a price one must pay to stay in the spotlight.

Sure, Santos probably wouldn’t even be included in any polls but who knows when a recent poll showed Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. with 22 percent support in a hypothetical three-way race against President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.

When Hutchenson is included in those still running in the GOP primary and only has .7% (running behind Bergum who has .9%) if only one poll includes Santos and he gets .8% or astounds everyone and he gets a whopping 1% it will make the news.

You can ask whether he has the stomach for a tough presidential run where he is brutally made fun of for his appearance..

If Trump has the stomach for it, he certainly does.

One thing you can say if he becomes the 47th president is that he’d bring a sartorial pinache to the office of the presidency not seen since John F. Kennedy (see photos).
