Here’s a sample of how Republicans attacked Harris.

Fox News contributor Charlie Hurt on the “Ingraham Angle” was asked by guest host Lisa Boothe asked him why he thinks some Democrats want to ban gas stoves. He answered: “I think because they hate us. They hate humans. They hate joyfulness. They hate pies. They hate good food. They want all of America to be as miserable and unhappy and unloved as they are.”

His referring to Democrats hating pies led to headlines like the one below and my adding my own image:

On the Harris X post lots of people thought they were observant by enlarging or circling the stove which is obviously a gas stove. Others posted images like these (click to enlarge).

Someone actually came up with the idea of posting an obnoxious fake video of Elizabeth Warren singing “I’m a fake Indian too (viewable here):

As far as I can tell nobody decided to focus on anything else in the photo beside the gas stove. I was curious about what else was visible in the photo.

On the right you can see two wires which seem to be the kind that go to electonic devices, a box of tissues, a container with scizzors, and some yellow item on top of two boxes. On the left you can see what seems to be a small stack of documents (although what’s on top could be a laptop).

I decided that since these right-wing trolls will make anything up to assume what’s on top is something that would be far worse than her having a gas stove.

If we accuse her of illegally bringing top secret documents home and worse, keeping them on a kitchen counter, this would play right into one of the things Trump did which, if Judge Cannon doen’t get her way, he’ll be on trial for doing.

Think of how the GOP trolls could compare what they acuse Harris of doing as vice presdient with what Biden did when he was vice presdient. He stored documents in his garage next to his vintage Corvette (article).

They’d say that she outdid him. She had secret documents next to a turkey dinner.

It wasn’t a brilliant act of political muckraking to spot the gas stove and use it against Harris. But since GOP trolls don’t care about the truth I wonder why they didn’t see beyond their troll noses…

… and make up something that really would be a big deal.
